ArcelorMittal Prijedor to develop major Bosnian ore deposit
Bosnia’s Serb-dominated entity, Republika Srpska (RS), has announced that it plans to conclude a concession contract for iron ore mining with ArcelorMittal Prijedor, Kallanish notes.
Under the planned agreement, the company will mine 3 million tonnes of iron ore from a deposit near Ljubija, the government of RS says. About 100 people will be involved in the project.
