ArcelorMittal boosts demand growth forecast in Brazil

ArcelorMittal has become more positive about its performance in Brazil and is updating its demand growth forecast from 0.5% to 2.5% in 2024, Kallanish learns from the global steelmaker's first-quarter earnings report.  The company's Q1 crude steel output in Brazil jumped 17%, to 3.56 million tonnes from 3.05mt in the year-earlier period.
