ArcelorMittal Poland guarantees unions blast furnace restart
ArcelorMittal Poland (AMP) has guaranteed trade unions that blast furnace no.2 will be restarted as soon as its revamp is completed, according to the Solidarnosc trade union.
The steelmaker has also agreed not to lay any workers off or change any workers' positions to ones with less favourable terms as a result of the BF downtime, says Miroslaw Nowak, head of Solidarnosc at AMP’s flagship Dabrowa Gornicza works.
