ArcelorMittal Pecém slab shipments fall sequentially in September
Brazil’s ArcelorMittal Pecém (AMP) saw slab exports fall month-on-month in September, Kallanish notes. Shipments, however, were higher compared with the same month in 2022.
According to data issued by the local port authority, AMP’s September shipments abroad reached 247,700 tonnes, down by 30,254t, or 10.9%, on-month. This volume, however, was 11.9% higher versus the 221,398t shipped a year earlier.
