ArcelorMittal Pecém slab exports recover in June
Brazil’s ArcelorMittal Pecém (AMP) saw slab exports rise on-month in June, Kallanish notes. Shipments were weaker, however, compared with the same month in 2022.
According to data issued by the local port authority, AMP’s June shipments abroad reached 278,566 tonnes, up 57.8% or 102,099t more on-month. This volume was down 9.9% versus the 309,369t shipped a year earlier.
