ArcelorMittal Pecém slab exports recover in August
Brazil’s ArcelorMittal Pecém (AMP) saw slab exports rise month-on-month in August, Kallanish notes. Shipments were also higher compared with the same month in 2022.
According to data issued by the local port authority, AMP’s August shipments abroad reached 277,954 tonnes, up by 78,617t, or 39.4%, on-month. This volume was 16.8% higher versus the 238,033t shipped a year earlier.
