ArcelorMittal Pecém July slab exports weaken
Brazil’s ArcelorMittal Pecém (AMP) saw slab exports fall on-month in July, Kallanish notes. Shipments were also weaker compared with the same month in 2022.
According to data issued by the local port authority, AMP’s July shipments abroad reached 199,337 tonnes, down 28.4% or 79,229t less on-month. This volume was 5.2% less versus the 210,208t shipped a year earlier.
