ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih prepares for blast furnace revamp

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) is preparing to stop its blast furnace no.9 for its $270 million reconstruction that will significantly reduce the unit’s dust emissions. The investment is one of the Ukrainian steelmaker’s largest planned for 2021 (see Kallanish passim).
