ArcelorMittal Galati restarts hot-end after upgrades
Romanian flat steelmaker ArcelorMittal Galati says it has restarted its hot-end after completing planned investment and maintenance works on blast furnace No.5. This is part of a project to improve product and services quality.
AM Galati temporarily stopped the hot-end a month ago to complete scheduled technological upgrades and maintenance works. BF5 is now in the process of ramp-up, the company announces in a statement seen by Kallanish.
