ArcelorMittal Brazil halts blast furnace operation in Divinópolis
ArcelorMittal has discontinued leasing the 10,000-tonne/month charcoal blast furnace operation in Divinópolis, Brazil, since 8 May, Kallanish learns from the steelmaker. The BF was transferred by Votorantim Siderurgia to ArcelorMittal as part of the agreement to combine their businesses focused on the production and supply of long steel products in Brazil at the beginning of 2018.
