ArcelorMittal Brazil grows partnership with Bekaert
ArcelorMittal's Brazilian arm has agreed the acquisition of 55.5% of the shares of Belgium-headquartered Bekaert's subsidiary in Sumaré Sao Paulo, Kallanish notes from a company statement. The Bekaert Group is a major producer of steel wire used extensively in many applications including the automotive sector and will retain the remaining 44..5% share in the operation.
