Arcelik mulls white goods plant in Egypt
Egypt's Minister of Trade and Industry, Ahmed Samir, has discussed with Turkey-headquartered home appliances producer Arcelik chief executive Hakan Bulgurlu the company's plans for expanding its business in Egypt, Kallanish notes.
The minister says the government is keen on encouraging foreign companies to inject new investments, especially in light of the conducive business environment in the country, according to a ministry release.
