Arabian Pipes sales surge in 2017
Arabian Pipes Co. (APC) saw revenue surge 53% on-year in 2017 to SAR 560 million ($149.33m), while total comprehensive income rose 23% to SAR 5.3m. This was thanks to increased shipments as a result of the operation of both the Jubail and Riyadh plants, as well as reduced shipping expenses.
Inventory provision has been reduced, APC says in a note seen by Kallanish, as a result of the rise in steel prices and the sale of a part of slow-moving inventory.
