AQS moves forward potential doubling of capacity
Algerian Qatari Steel (AQS), the Algerian-Qatari steelmaking joint venture, has launched an official tender for a consultant to carry out the feasibility study to double the mill’s capacity, Kallanish notes.
Earlier this year, the company signed a memorandum of understanding with Algerian officials on a potential capacity increase, and said it would later carry out a feasibility study (see Kallansish passim).
