Algerian Qatari Steel to start exporting rebar
Algerian Qatari Steel, the Algeria-based steelmaker joint venture between the state and Qatar Steel, is expected to start exporting rebar this month, company executives told local radio and press.
In January-April the company exported 100,000 tonnes of billet and wire rod. Rebar exports are meanwhile being prepared and will commence by end-May.
