April US import applications decrease on-month: AISI
Steel import applications to the US submitted for April totaled 2.73 million short tons, a decrease of 0.5% from the 2.75m st in permit application volume filed in March, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) analysis of the Steel Import Monitor and Assessment (SIMA).
