Italian stainless scrap prices seen falling in April
Italian stainless steel scrap prices are seen losing €50/tonne ($58) on average in April mostly due to see-sawing nickel value fluctuations, sellers tell Kallanish.
304 grade stainless steel scrap is expected to reach €1,360-1,370/t delivered. Grade 316, however, is seen remaining pricy due to short availability, and prices may only slightly decrease, likely remaining at current levels of €1,870-1,880/t delivered, sources say.
