April import licenses rise over March preliminary totals
US import licenses appear to have increased in April, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US import licenses were 3.433 million short tons in April, up 1.1% from March’s preliminary import count. Finished steel import permits were 2.657m st, up 5.6% from March’s preliminary total.
