Aperam increases October alloy surcharges
French stainless steel producer Aperam has increased its alloy surcharges for October for its austenitic range of flat stainless steels for Europe by some €150/tonne ($143) on average, Kallanish notes.
Aperam’s surcharges next month for grade 304 (1.4301) will increase slightly, from €2,521/t this month to €2,603/t, effective 1 October. Grade 316, however, will increase significantly, from €3,788/t to €4,001/t next month. Grade 309S,…
