Aperam Brazil’s BioEnergia advances CO2 reduction
Aperam Brazil, a subsidiary of the international stainless and electric steel producer, says it will further expand its sustainable raw material use for production, Kallanish notes.
The company says it is focused on improving technological processing at its Vale do Jequitinhonha charcoal plant. The Aperam BioEnergia unit will implement two new gas burners by the end of 2022. It produces around 450,000 tonnes/year of material.
