APC increases first-quarter revenue, profit on 2022 contracts
Riyadh-based Arabian Pipes Co. (APC) saw a revenue spike of 272.7% on-year and an increase of 3.1% on-quarter in the first quarter to SAR 230 million ($61.3m). The company clocked up a net profit of SAR 13.3m in Q1 versus a net loss of SAR 13.2m in Q1 2022.
Led by oil giant Aramco, the company was contracted to supply steel pipe worth over SAR 1 billion in 2022.
