Anyang Steel restarts No.2 blast furnace
Anyang Iron and Steel Group, located in Henan province, restarted its number two blast furnace on 20 February after an 80-day suspension for maintenance.
The iron capacity of this 2,800 cubic metre BF is 2.25 million tonnes/year. Kallanish estimates the suspension reduced approximately 490,000 tonnes of hot metal output.
