Anyang Steel achieves comprehensive ultra-low emissions
Listed firm Anyang Iron and Steel Co. has achieved comprehensive ultra-low emissions standards across all equipment. It is the first steelmaker in Henan Province to do so, Kallanish notes from the Henan Province Department of Ecology and Environment.
The announcement means the company will not face any production restrictions when the government issues a short-term production limit to control pollution in future.
