Whack-a-mole anti-China trade measures wont stop 100mt exports
As China’s steel exports remain remarkably strong this year, a previously predicted decline from 2014 levels looks increasingly unlikely. More analysts, including at Kallanish, are consequently predicting exports at around 100 million tonnes in 2015.
Although anti-trade measures against Chinese steel are multiplying rapidly, they are unlikely to have a large impact on volumes this year and will have only a limited impact in terms of global trade iā¦
