Ansteel to add automotive galvanizing line
Anshan Iron and Steel Guangzhou Automative Steel plans to build one galvanizing line for car exterior sheets, which is expected to be commissioned in November 2025, Kallanish notes.
The hot dip galvanized sheet capacity of this line would be 400,000 tonnes/year. Also, it will equip a recoil inspection unit with 150,000 t/y capacity for automotive hot-dip galvanized steel.
