Ann Joo sues Tanggang over BF contract
Malaysia’s Ann Joo Integrated Steel, part of Ann Joo Resources, has filed a lawsuit against Tangshan Iron and Steel International Engineering Technology, part of Hebei Iron and Steel (Hegang). The legal action is over a delayed contract to build and ironworks. Ann Joo has recorded sharply higher profits this year, in part thanks to it being the only BF-EAF steelmaker in the country, Kallanish notes.
