Anhui targets iron concentrate capacity surge
China’s Anhui Province plans to accelerate its increase in iron concentrate capacity in order to secure raw material supply, Kallanish learns.
According to the blueprint published by the provincial economy and information technology department, Anhui intends to capacity 2 million tonnes/year of pure Fe in concentrate by 2025, reaching 13m t/y in total. This is equivalent to 20m t/y of 65% Fe concentrate.
