Anhui Luan Steel hot tests 2,300mm slab caster
China’s Anhui Luan Steel successfully hot tested its new 2,300mm continuous slab caster on Tuesday 13 September, Kallanish notes.
CISDI, part of China Metallurgical Corporation (MCC), began construction of the plant on 1 September 2021 and took full responsibility for it. The caster has the ability to produce 3.06 million tonnes/year of slab.
