Angola's CSC starts pig iron production
Companhia Siderúrgica do Cuchi (CSC), a merchant pig iron producer located in Angola, started its first pig iron production on 1 May.
Output has started at the first blast furnace of a planned four. The mill's current capacity is 108,000 tonnes/year and expected to reach 500,000 t/y in the next five years, CSC board member Danilo Danelucci tells Kallanish.
