Angang’s Bayuquan plant achieves ultra-low emissions
The Bayuquan plant of China’s Anshan Iron & Steel (Angang) says it completed the ultra-low emission transformation of the company’s entire production process in the first half of 2023, and achieved stable operation, Kallanish notes.
In order to meet the environmental protection standards of a total of 72 projects related to emissions and transportation, the company has invested a total of CNY 2.5 billion ($346 million).
