Angang Guangzhou commences Phase II construction
China’s Angang Guangzhou Automobile Steel Co, Ltd. on Tuesday held a groundbreaking ceremony for its second phase. The ceremony included the chairmen of both Angang and Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC group).
Phase II of the company aims to add one autosheet galvanising line to meet demand for both the autos and white goods industries. The line is expected to add 400,000 tonnes/year of high strength hot dip galvanized sheet capacity, Kallanish learns.
