Analysts see Malaysia's construction remaining strong
MIDF Research says it expects the construction sector in Malaysia to continue registering strong growth in the fourth quarter. This is underpinned by the government's expansionary fiscal spending and further progress in private and public sector projects, Kallanish notes.
In its recent note, the research house reiterates its forecast for the sector to expand 7.5% in 2023 on the back of better supply conditions. This was higher than the 5% growth in 2022.
