AMSA to hike prices following global uptrend
ArcelorMittal South Africa (AMSA) will implement a 4.3% increase on flat steel and 4.4% hike on long steel prices effective 1 September.
This follows a “… significant” rise in global steel and raw materials prices over the last three months, in some cases by over 25%; AMSA’s price hike is conservative by comparison, the steelmaker says.
