AM’s iron ore production and sales grow
ArcelorMittal’s mining production, which consists of iron ore mining operations in Canada (AMMC) and Liberia only, increased in the third quarter by 40.7% on-quarter despite a 4.2% decrease on-year, to 6.8 million tonnes. Iron ore shipments soared 53.5% on-quarter to 6.9mt, according to ArcelorMittal’s interim results monitored by Kallanish.
