Ampco sees loss looming in Q3
The parent company of mill roll supplier Union Electric Steel Corporation plans to report a loss in the third quarter despite an uptick in sales, largely due to 232 tariffs still in place on Canadian goods, Kallanish reports.
Ampco-Pittsburgh Corporation expects a loss of $5.5-7.2 million for the quarter ended 30 September, though are expected to be $106-112m. In Q3 2017, the company produced sales of $104m.
