ArcelorMittal Poland postpones Krakow hot-end idling
ArcelorMittal Poland (AMP) has postponed the idling of the hot-end at its Krakow steelworks in order to “…re-evaluate the entire situation,” the steelmaker says.
The firm announced in May it was idling the hot-end from September due to higher costs and increased imports (see Kallanish passim).
Around 1,000 workers demonstrated earlier this week in front of AMP’s headquarters, reiterating calls for the steelmaker to scrap its plan…
