AM/NS taps Sarralle for Alabama furnace project
Spanish industrial services company Sarralle will be heading up AM/NS Calvert’s 1.5 million tonne melt-shop expansion in Calvert, Alabama, Kallanish learns from a company release.
The greenfield melt shop project is part of a $775 million expansion of the site. AM/NS Calvert is one of three North American facilities that were not included in ArcelorMittal USA’s sale to Cleveland-Cliffs in 2020.
