AM/NS Calvert wins smart manufacturing project funding
US flatrolled steelmaker AM/NS Calvert and AI software provider Falkonry are collaborating on a project at the company’s cold rolling randem mill in Calvert, Alabama. The project is being funded by the public-private partnership Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CESMII).
The project’s goal is to improve performance and productivity in steel manufacturing through control systems data and time series AI.
