AMKR’s steel, pig iron output declines in January-September
Ukraine's ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) reduced crude steel production in January-September by -15.8% on-year to 3.64 million tonnes, Kallanish notes.
Sinter output fell by -10.2% to 6.67mt and pig iron production decreased -10.5% to 3.64mt. The production of rolled products fell by -2.1% to 3.37mt.
In September alone production was 300,000t of steel, 300,000t of pig iron, 260,000t of rolled products and 535,000t of sinter.
