AMKR upgrades sinter plant to reduce dust emissions
Ukraine’s ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) steelworks is upgrading sinter plant No.2 to improve the efficiency of the gas cleaning system with a focus on reducing dust emissions, Kallanish notes.
The steelmaker has invested $180 million in the upgrade project. This will be the fifth sinter plant AMKR has upgraded in this way.
