AMKR raises iron ore Fe content
Ukraine's ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) has improved the quality of its iron ore offering, says the company.
It has increased the Fe content in mined iron ore to 68% by installing new hydrocyclones at section 13 of the second ore processing plant (ROF-2), Kallanish notes. The technology, costing UAH 9 million ($329,413), was supplied by South Africa’s Multotec.
AMKR currently supplies high-quality iron ore concentrate to Poland.
