AMKR reduces dust emissions with upgrade
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) is conducting hot tests of sinter machine No.2 after its upgrade, the company says. This is part of a large-scale eco-modernisation of sinter shop No.2.
The firm has so far upgraded five of the six sintering machines at the shop. Modern gas cleaning, aspiration and automation systems were introduced on each machine. Once work is completed, dust emissions from each of the six sinter machines will be reduced by 250 tonnes/year. Consu…
