Covid-19 measures cut AMKR’s first-quarter production
Ukraine's ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) reduced steel production in the first quarter compared with Q1 2019.
In January-March 2020 it produced 1.3 million tonnes, down -7.1% year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
Finished steel output fell by -7.7% on-year to 1.2mt and pig iron production decreased by -7.1% to 1.3mt.
