AMKR increases crude steel, pig iron output
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) increased crude steel production in January-August by 4.1% on-year to 3.32 million tonnes, Kallanish notes.
Pig iron production grew 11.3% to 3.72mt. However, rolled products output fell 0.2% to 3.1mt.
In August alone, the company produced 415,000t of crude steel, 440,000t of pig iron and 400,000t of rolled product.
