AMKR hikes steel, pig iron output
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) increased crude steel production in January, the company tells Kallanish.
Steel output was up 10% on-year to 460,000 tonnes. Pig iron production increased 4.5% to 490,000t and rolled products output was up 9.5% to 430,000t. It also produced 850,000t of sinter, up by 6.4%, and coke output rose 1.6% to 253,000t.
