AMKR hikes 2021 steel, pig iron output
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) improved its production results in 2021, following a difficult, Covid-19-impaired 2020, the company tells Kallanish.
Steel output was more by 5.2% on-year to 4.92 million tonnes. Pig iron production increased by 7.9% to 5.34mt and rolled products output was up 5.2% to 4.6mt. It also produced 5.34mt of sinter, up by 7.3%.
