AMKR eyes better results in H2 after upgrades

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) increased crude steel production in the first half of the year, the company says. Crude steel output was up 1.4% on-year to 2.5 million tonnes, Kallanish notes. Pig iron production increased by 10.4% to 2.8mt. Rolled products was more 2.2% to 2.3mt. It also produced 4.9mt of sinter, up by 7.6% on-year.
