AMKR continues to increase steel, pig iron output

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) increased crude steel production in January-May, the company says. Crude steel output was up 1.4% on-year to 2.03 million tonnes, Kallanish notes. Pig iron production increased by 10.9% to 2.32mt. Rolled products output however was down by 2.6% to 1.92mt. It also produced 4.07mt of sinter, up by 7.1% on-year.
