ArcelorMittal Ostrava contracts SMS for bloom caster mould
Czech Republic's ArcelorMittal Ostrava has ordered fibre optics-using mould technology from SMS for use in its continuous bloom caster. The moulds will protect the machine, improve quality and yield, and provide support in the development of new steel grades, says the equipment supplier.
