Liberia lower house ratifies ArcelorMittal project amendments
The Liberian House of Representatives (LHR) has ratified the amendment made between ArcelorMittal Liberia (AML) and the Liberia government that aims to prevent monopolistic control being given to AML.
Following a joint committee’s study, the modified version rejected exclusive rights of Liberia’s Railroads and Port of Buchanan on the Proposed Amendment to be given to AML, local media report.
